Planned Parenthood has sunk to a new low, if this is possible. The Examiner [1] reports that through their affiliate, the International Planned Parenthood Federation [2], they are now advocating and proposing to have contraceptive sex education become mandatory as early as age ten. This recommendation comes through their initiative “Stand and Deliver - Sex, Health and Young People in the 21st Century. [3] I realize that Planned Parenthood promotes abortion, but aren’t they now almost promoting sex in young children? This agency is documented for reducing the parental role in sex education and sex responsibility for their children and has been blaming religious organizations of “denying young people the pleasurable and positive aspects of sex”.
Planned Parenthood’s report [3] actually accuses religions, from Christianity to Catholicism to Islam, of prohibiting contraceptive information to young children and that organized religions have built barriers preventing free access to information and services about sex and contraception. The report claims that “sex education classes should present sex to young people as a “positive force for change and development, as a source of pleasure, an embodiment of human rights and an expression of self.” [3]
The Examiner quotes Catholic author and syndicated talk show host, Teresa Tomeo as saying that “Money is a major part of their agenda…They make money off abortion and contraception. [4] The more people engaging in risky sexual behavior, the bigger their business in abortions”. I find this outrageous and a severe conflict of interest. And their interests (money) come at the extreme expense of young children. The report has a roaring silence regarding marriage and fidelity issues or sexually transmitted diseases. I find that Planned Parenthood is willing to sell out our young children’s promiscuous sex behavior and activity for money for the organization. That, I hate to say, is about as despicable as it gets. I just had to blow the whistle on them. I thank the Examiner for finding out such a horrendous report.
